Bilateral cooperation

The State Audit Office has become well-known among international colleagues and implements bilateral cooperation actively with supreme audit institutions of other countries both by exchanging experience with supreme audit institutions of developed countries and by providing support to supreme audit institutions of transition countries.

The expertise, experience, methods, and approaches applied by the State Audit Office are highly appreciated. Based on signed bilateral memoranda with other supreme institutions, the State Audit Office organizes training and study visits and provides practical assistance in audit work.

The State Audit Office is also cooperating actively with the SAIs of the Nordic countries and other countries, both in terms of audit methodology and training programmes, as well as participating in workshops related to topical public sector auditing themes.
