International cooperation concept
One of the strategic goals of the State Audit Office is to become an internationally recognised centre of excellence for public sector auditing.
This means that the State Audit Office must strive for excellence and become an opinion leader and support provider in public sector auditing.
In order to achieve the goal, the State Audit Office targets its activities in four directions:
- application for membership in INTOSAI and EUROSAI governing and other bodies, for example, cooperation platform of the Supreme Audit Institutions of the Member States of the European Union and the European Court of Auditors - the Contact Committee, as well as acting as an auditor of international organizations;
- ensuring participation in and professional contribution to the work of INTOSAI and EUROSAI international working groups;
- providing development and other support to supreme audit institutions of other countries and offering international consulting services as a professional, highly qualified, and experienced consultant in public sector auditing, and
- developing and publishing articles related to public sector auditing in international journals.
